Students
To assist new students and faculty with login problems a special network account ("newterm") is available during the first week of every term. For information or help with this account please contact a Computer Lab assistant or call (541) 383-7722.
To help keep COCC’s network secure, community members and other visitors must have an assigned account in order to use COCC’s Computer Labs, wireless internet and other network services. Individuals requesting an account will be required to show valid photo ID.
Bend Campus
Refer the requesting party to the Campus Library reference desk. The reference desk attendee will help the requestor complete the proper paperwork to create a 1 year Community Member or a 7 day temporary network account.
Community Member accounts can be renewed by request each year by contacting the Campus Library reference desk at (541) 383-7567.
Redmond Campus
Refer the requesting party to the Redmond Building 3 (MATC) front desk. The available staff member will work with the requestor to create a 7 day temporary network account and if appropriate help the applicate complete the needed paperwork and coordinate with the Library Reference Desk to create a 1 year Community Member account.
When an event is being scheduled in COCC facilities requires access to the internet or use of presentation equipment or other network resources, a temporary event account should be requested during the facilities rental process. For more information contact Campus Services at (541) 383-7775.
In situations such as for Community Learning courses or student help registration/testing sessions occuring in COCC computer labs, network access can be prearraged by contacting ITS with the necessary details.
